The invention belongs to the field of seabed resource exploration, and particularly relates to a tail vane transmission mechanism of an underwater self-propelled device. The base of the tail cabin is connected with the cabin body of the underwater self-propelled device; the two steering engines synchronously drive a pair of respective bevel gears to perform meshing motion, so that rotation of the steering engines is converted into rotation of the rudder shaft, the rudder sheets are driven to rotate, and the motion direction of the whole underwater self-propelled device is controlled by controlling rotation of the two symmetrical rudder sheets; the hydrodynamic influence is fully considered in the pressure-resistant cabin body and the rudder sheet, the pressure-resistant cabin is designed in a cone shape, the rudder sheet is designed in a streamline shape, and the resistance of underwater navigation is reduced. The device has the advantages of being simple in structure, convenient to disassemble and assemble, low in energy consumption, reliable in work and the like, the rudder piece can be rapidly adjusted, and the maneuvering performance of the underwater self-propelled device is improved.
