The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a first coordinate point set of a target vehicle, and acquiring a second coordinate point set of surrounding targets; wherein the first coordinate point set comprises at least one coordinate point of a first local boundary of the target vehicle, and the second coordinate point set comprises at least one coordinate point of a second local boundary of the surrounding target; determining a reference driving distance between the target vehicle and the surrounding target by using the first coordinate point set and the second coordinate point set; and determining a target driving state of the target vehicle by using the reference driving distance between the target vehicle and the surrounding target, the target driving state including a driving state of the target vehicle driving from the current position to the next target position. According to the scheme, the safety of vehicle driving can be improved.
