The invention provides a technology related to automatic driving, in particular, but not completely, a network connection reference beacon technology for serving an automatic driving system, and particularly provides a network connection reference beacon system (CRM system) which comprises a network connection reference beacon (CRM) network and a road side communication system. The techniques provide, supplement, and/or enhance autonomous driving functionality for smart connected vehicles in normal and abnormal driving scenarios for serving autonomous driving systems.
