The invention relates to a signal control system with a train operation automatic adjusting function, which comprises a centralized dispatching subsystem CTC (24) and a train automatic driving subsystem ATO (52), the train operation automatic adjusting function is jointly realized by the centralized dispatching subsystem CTC (24) and the train automatic driving subsystem ATO (52), the centralized dispatching subsystem CTC (24) sets an automatic adjusting function starting threshold value, and the automatic adjusting function starting threshold value sets a train operation automatic adjusting function starting threshold value. And the train operation condition is judged, and the stop time and the interval operation time are adjusted. Compared with the prior art, the method has the advantages that the whole adjustment process is automatically completed by the system, no dispatcher is needed, the operation intensity of the dispatcher is greatly reduced, and the train operation punctuality rate is improved; traffic safety and operation efficiency are both considered, and the automatic adjustment function does not affect passenger getting-on and getting-off operation of the train on the platform.
