The invention is suitable for the technical field of automobiles, and provides a method for determining the running power of a vehicle heating device, and the method comprises the steps: determining the required heat of a vehicle in a navigation route interval according to the predicted environment temperature of the vehicle in the navigation route interval, the set temperature of heating in the vehicle and the actual temperature of the environment in the vehicle; according to the predicted vehicle speed of the vehicle in the navigation route interval, recoverable heat of the vehicle in the navigation route interval is determined; and according to the recoverable heat and the required heat, the operation power of the vehicle heating device is determined. By optimizing the vehicle heating strategy, the energy consumption of vehicle heating is reduced, the energy consumption of the whole vehicle is further reduced, and the driving range of the whole vehicle is increased.
