The overshoot amount is based on the overshoot amount of rotation of the electric motor caused by inertia after the driving of the electric motor is stopped, a target release stroke during the release of the parking brake mechanism, which is the release of the parking brake mechanism, is obtained from the application stroke, and a control command for releasing is output based on the target release stroke.
