The deck is integrally hoisted on the upper portion, and final assembly of the whole floating type foundation is completed; and independently towing the final assembled floating type foundation to an assembly sea area close to a wharf and fixing the final assembled floating type foundation to the assembly sea area, hoisting a tower drum assembly section by section on the floating type foundation, fixedly installing the wind turbine generator at a preset position of the tower drum assembly, and towing the floating type foundation fixed with the wind turbine generator to a target sea area. The construction method is high in construction efficiency, high in construction precision and safe in construction environment.
