The invention provides a gun insertion heat preservation method and device, electronic equipment and a vehicle, and the method comprises the steps: determining the awakening time for awakening a battery management system based on a preset thermal runaway inspection mechanism and/or the setting of a reserved vehicle use time period under the condition that the vehicle is in a dormant state; when the wake-up time arrives, waking up the battery management system to obtain the temperature of the power battery; under the condition that the temperature of the power battery is not within the preset temperature range, working condition information of the vehicle is obtained; and under the condition that the working condition information meets the working condition of gun insertion heat preservation, gun insertion heat preservation operation on the power battery is triggered. The invention aims at providing a timely and flexible gun insertion heat preservation method, solving the problem that a vehicle cannot be started due to too low temperature of a power battery caused by too long standing of the vehicle, and improving the flexibility of gun insertion heat preservation and the user experience.
