The invention discloses a pipeline climbing detection system, which comprises a pipeline clamping walking device and an operation detection control system arranged on the pipeline clamping walking device, and is characterized in that the operation detection control system comprises a processor, and a magnetic flux leakage detector, a first double-shaft motor, a second double-shaft motor and a displacement motor which are electrically connected with the processor; the processor performs forward rotation or reverse rotation control on the first double-shaft motor, the second double-shaft motor and the displacement motor and is used for clamping, releasing and moving the pipeline clamping walking device along the pipeline; the processor applies direct-current excitation or alternating-current excitation to the magnetic flux leakage detector, obtains pipeline detection data and is used for detecting defects of the inner wall and the outer wall of the pipeline. The system also supports control and data acquisition of a near-end handheld terminal and a remote cloud platform. Autonomous climbing and detection can be achieved, remote control can be achieved, and the labor cost is saved.
