The invention discloses an intelligent auxiliary driving method for a tower crane, which can be used for recommending an intelligent auxiliary scheme for path planning and operation instructions in the process of controlling the tower crane by a driver, so that the tower crane can be operated at high precision, and the requirement of rapid development of an assembly type building can be met, and the method is based on real-time monitoring data of a lifting hook position and a target position. The motion path of the hook is automatically planned; in combination with safety devices such as weight, torque, height, amplitude and angle measurement sensors and limiters arranged on the tower crane, the operation speed of the lifting hook is automatically calculated; the running speed of the lifting hook is controlled through the PLC; and displaying the planned path and the recommended operation instruction through a display screen.
