The invention discloses a battery pack switching use method and device, equipment and a storage medium. The method comprises the following steps: a battery management system obtains a plurality of battery packs connected in parallel and ID identification information of each battery pack; according to the plurality of battery packs connected in parallel and the ID identification information of each battery pack, acquiring a level signal output by each battery pack to a battery connection port of a battery management system; according to the level signal output by each battery pack to the battery connection port of the battery management system, obtaining the use state information of each battery pack in the plurality of battery packs by the battery management system; and obtaining switching control of the battery management system on any battery pack in the plurality of battery packs according to the use state information of the battery management system on each battery pack in the plurality of battery packs. According to the invention, a user can change the battery capacity and the service power as required.
