The method comprises the steps that historical charging data of each single cell in a battery pack is acquired, and the historical charging data of each single cell comprises electric energy characterization values of the single cells at multiple sampling moments in the historical charging process of the battery pack; determining a first deviation degree of the electric energy characterization value of the single battery cell relative to a battery cell group in the battery pack according to the electric energy characterization value of each single battery cell at each sampling moment and each single battery cell at the sampling moment; and according to the first deviation degree of each single battery cell at each sampling moment, determining abnormal single battery cells in the historical charging process and the abnormal degree of each abnormal single battery cell so as to balance the abnormal single battery cells in the future charging process of the battery pack. The equalization mode of the abnormal single battery cells can be adjusted in time, and the equalization effect is improved.
