A system (200) is provided that includes a self-propelled platform (202) that can traverse a first track (212) of a first vehicle (206) and a first track (216) of a second vehicle (208), the first track of the first vehicle being separated from the first track of the second vehicle in a spaced apart relationship. The self-propelled platform has a wheel assembly (215) engageable with the first track of the first vehicle and the first track of the second vehicle. The wheel assembly may include at least one guide rail (332) extending away from the self-propelled platform and sized and shaped to engage with the first track of the first vehicle or the first track of the second vehicle when a portion of the self-propelled platform remains on the first track of the first vehicle and the first track of the second vehicle, the wheel assembly is guided to the first track of the first vehicle or the first track of the second vehicle.
