According to the vehicle superelevation detection method, the vehicle superelevation detection mode can be simplified, the vehicle superelevation detection device can be directly arranged on a bridge with the height needing to be limited due to the fact that the vehicle superelevation detection device obliquely faces the safety passing line for detection, compared with a detection device for vertically and downwards detecting, a supporting frame does not need to be additionally erected in front of the bridge for installing the detection device, and cost is saved.

    本发明提供一种车辆超高检测方法,包括:在道路上方预设一安全通行线,所述安全通行线与所述道路的宽度方向平行,其相对所述道路的高度为车辆最大通行高度;通过检测装置检测是否有物体经过所述安全通行线或者所述安全通行线的上方,若有,则判断车辆超高。本发明的车辆超高检测方法能够简化检测车辆超高的方式,并且由于是倾斜朝向安全通行线进行检测,可以直接设置在需要限高的桥梁上,相对于垂直向下检测的检测装置,无需另外在桥梁的前方架设支撑架来安装检测装置,节省了成本。
