The invention discloses a driving robot. The driving robot comprises a steering executing mechanism, an accelerator executing mechanism, a brake executing mechanism, a clutch executing mechanism, a gear executing mechanism and a control mechanism. The control mechanism is used for obtaining the current speed of the target vehicle when the target vehicle moves longitudinally, obtaining the target acceleration according to the current speed and controlling the accelerator executing mechanism, the clutch executing mechanism, the brake executing mechanism and the gear executing mechanism based on the target acceleration. Therefore, the accelerator executing mechanism controls the accelerator mechanism, the clutch executing mechanism controls the clutch mechanism, the brake executing mechanism controls the brake mechanism, the gear executing mechanism controls the gear mechanism, and then the target vehicle is switched to the target speed from the current speed. In this way, the control precision of the driving robot on the target vehicle is improved.
