A vehicle position estimation device is provided with: a road end information acquisition unit (F31) that acquires position information of a road end with respect to a vehicle using at least one of an imaging device (11) that captures an image of a predetermined range in the vicinity of the vehicle, and distance measurement sensors (19A, 19B) that measure the image of the predetermined range in the vicinity of the vehicle; the distance measuring sensor detects an object present in a predetermined direction of the vehicle by transmitting a detection wave or a laser beam. A map acquisition unit (F2) that acquires map information including the number of lanes on a road on which the host vehicle travels from a map storage unit disposed inside or outside the host vehicle; and a travel lane determination unit (F4) that determines the travel lane of the host vehicle on the basis of the position information of the road end acquired by the road end information acquisition unit and the number of lanes included in the map information acquired by the map acquisition unit.
本发明提供本车位置推断装置、行驶位置推断方法,本车位置推断装置具备:道路端信息获取部(F31),使用拍摄装置(11)和测距传感器(19A、19B)中的至少任意一方来获取道路端相对于本车辆的位置信息,其中,上述拍摄装置拍摄本车辆周边的规定范围,上述测距传感器通过发送探测波或者激光来检测存在于本车辆的规定方向的物体;地图获取部(F2),从配置于本车辆内部或本车辆外部的地图存储部获取包含本车辆所行驶的道路的车道数的地图信息;以及行驶车道确定部(F4),基于由道路端信息获取部获取到的道路端的位置信息和由地图获取部获取到的地图信息所包含的车道数来确定本车辆的行驶车道。
