The invention relates to a train autonomous sensing system, which comprises a vehicle-mounted subsystem used for identifying obstacles in a rail-mounted area; the trackside subsystem is used for making up the limitation of the detection distance of a sensor of the vehicle-mounted subsystem and enhancing the detection of key areas with shielded sight lines; the handheld mobile terminal subsystem is carried and operated by train passengers on duty and is used for checking, displaying and confirming operation; the central server subsystem is used for acquiring the working state and alarm information of each subsystem device and carrying out comprehensive logic processing based on global state data; and the dispatching terminal subsystem communicates with the central server subsystem and is used for acquiring and displaying the working states of the subsystems and the devices along the line, displaying the vehicle position and the installation position of the trackside subsystem, checking the alarm information of the subsystems and managing the devices of the subsystems. Compared with the prior art, the method has the advantages that the train can actively find the obstacles and process the obstacles according to the conditions of the obstacles and the like.
