The invention is suitable for the technical field of spaceflight power equipment, and provides a dual-mode variable-thrust propelling system and method, and the propelling system is characterized in that a solid propellant grain array is arranged at the upper end of a fuel gas containing cavity in a communicating manner; the gas containing cavity is communicated with the storage box through a first gas path pipeline, and the storage box is communicated with the engine. The fuel gas containing cavity communicates with the engine electromagnetic valve through a second gas path pipeline. The control measurement system is electrically connected with the solid propellant grain array, the engine and the engine electromagnetic valve respectively; solid propellants in the solid propellant grain array are ignited by controlling the measuring system, gas is released to the fuel gas containing cavity, and part of gas in the fuel gas containing cavity serves as extrusion gas to extrude liquid propellants in the storage box through the first gas path pipeline to be supplied to the engine. And the other part of gas is supplied to an engine electromagnetic valve through a second gas path pipeline. The weight of the pressure-bearing container can be reduced, and the number of engines can be reduced through a variable-thrust propelling mode, so that the weight of the propelling system is reduced.

    本发明适用于航天动力设备技术领域,提供了一种双模式变推力的推进系统及推进方法,推进系统包括:固体推进剂药柱阵列连通设置在燃气容腔上端;燃气容腔通过第一气路管路连通贮箱,贮箱连通发动机;燃气容腔通过第二气路管路连通发动机电磁阀;控制测量系统分别电连接固体推进剂药柱阵列、发动机以及发动机电磁阀;通过控制测量系统点燃固体推进剂药柱阵列中的固体推进剂并释放气体到燃气容腔,将燃气容腔中一部分气体作为挤压气体通过第一气路管路挤压贮箱中的液体推进剂供应发动机,将另一部分气体经过第二气路管路供应发动机电磁阀。本申请能够减少承压容器的重量,以及通过变推力的推进模式,可以减少发动机的数量,从而减少推进系统的重量。
