The invention provides a marine underground space emergency escape structure and an escape method, and belongs to the technical field of marine underground escape and refuge guarantee. The emergency escape structure comprises an escape vertical shaft, an escape platform cavern, a plurality of transfer platform caverns and a plurality of escape channels, wherein the escape platform caverns and the transfer platform caverns are sequentially arranged at intervals in the length direction of the escape vertical shaft and are communicated through the escape vertical shaft in a penetrating mode. The escape channels are communicated with the escape platform cavern, the transfer platform caverns and the ocean underground space. An escape ladder stand is arranged on the inner wall of the escape vertical shaft, and an escape cabin door used for being communicated with the seabed plane of the shallow sea is arranged at the top of the escape platform cavern.
