The invention relates to a balance type underwater measurement unmanned ship which comprises a ship body floating on the water surface and a detection device arranged on the ship body, the ship body is provided with a sinking and floating body used for sinking underwater, the detection device is installed on the sinking and floating body, a water tank is formed in the sinking and floating body, and the detection device is installed in the water tank. The bottom of the sinking and floating body is provided with a water hole enabling the water tank to be communicated with the outside, a piston plate is slidably connected into the water tank and abuts against the inner wall of the water tank, the ship body is provided with an air conveying assembly, the air conveying assembly comprises an air conveying hose and an air pump, and the air pump is installed on the ship body and connected with the air conveying hose. The two ends of the air conveying hose communicate with the output end of the air pump and the interior of the water tank correspondingly, and the piston plate is located between the air inlet end of the water tank and the water hole. The method has the effect of improving the accuracy of the result detected by the detection device.
