The invention discloses an LNG ship with a lightweight bow, which is characterized in that the uppermost layer of deck penetrating through the bow and the stern of the LNG ship body is formed by splicing a main deck and a second deck, the main deck is continuously paved from the stern to the front of the flat side line of the ship body, and the second deck is continuously paved from the bow to the front of the flat side line of the ship body; and the main deck and the second deck are connected through an interchange transition structure. Main decks of the bow area and the cargo hold area in front of the flat side line of the ship body are omitted, so that the ship bow structure is greatly simplified, the ship weight is reduced, the ship building cost is reduced, and energy consumption in the ship navigation process is reduced.
