The invention discloses an automatic worm and gear clearance adjusting mechanism for an automobile steering system. The automatic worm and gear clearance adjusting mechanism comprises a shell, a worm, a worm gear, a worm right bearing, a worm left end bearing and an automatic worm and gear clearance adjusting component. The automatic worm and gear clearance adjusting component comprises a sliding block, a sliding block sleeve and a spring. The right side of the shell is provided with a right through cavity for containing the automatic worm and gear clearance adjusting component. A main body of the sliding block is a small drawer type component, and a small drawer structure for containing the spring is arranged at the bottom of a drawer of the small drawer type component. A main body of the sliding block sleeve is a large drawer type component, and a right concave drawer structure is arranged at the bottom of a drawer of the large drawer type component; and the spring is arranged in a space defined by the corresponding surfaces of the small drawer structure containing the spring and the right concave drawer structure. The worm right bearing arranged at the right end of the worm is located in a space limited by the main body of the sliding block. According to the automatic worm and gear clearance adjusting mechanism, the clearance between the worm gear and the worm is in a reasonable state during the whole operation of the automobile and does not change along with the change of the temperature. The automatic worm and gear clearance adjusting mechanism is novel in structure and high in working reliability.

    用于汽车转向系统的蜗轮蜗杆间隙自动调节机构,包括壳体、蜗杆、蜗轮、蜗杆右轴承、蜗杆左端轴承、蜗轮蜗杆间隙自动调节组件。蜗轮蜗杆间隙自动调节组件包括滑块、滑块套、弹簧。壳体的右侧设有容纳蜗轮蜗杆间隙自动调节组件的右通腔。滑块的主体为小抽屉型构件,该小抽屉型构件的抽屉底部设有容纳弹簧小抽屉结构。滑块套的主体为大抽屉型构件,该大抽屉型构件的抽屉底部设有右凹抽屉结构;弹簧设在容纳弹簧小抽屉结构和右凹抽屉结构相应表面围成的空间内。设在蜗杆的右端上的蜗杆右轴承位于滑块的主体所限定的空间内。本发明使得蜗轮蜗杆间隙在汽车整个运转工作中都处在合理的状态下,而不会随温度的变化而变化。本发明结构新颖、工作可靠性高。
