The control system for an intelligent connected vehicle comprises: a sensor group (10) used for obtaining sensing information (301); a perception and positioning module (202) used for obtaining perception information and positioning information (302) on the basis of the sensing information; a planning control module (203) used for determining vehicle planning control information (303) on the basis of the perception information and the positioning information; a safety control module (204) used for determining vehicle safety control information (304) on the basis of the perception information and the positioning information; a function assessment module (205) used for determining a vehicle state assessment result; a risk assessment module (206) used for determining a risk assessment result; a logical arbitration module (207) used for arbitrating the vehicle planning control information and the vehicle safety control information, and determining vehicle execution information; and an execution module (208) used for controlling the traveling of a vehicle (308) on the basis of the vehicle execution information. The control method for an intelligent connected vehicle can reduce the travel risk of an intelligent connected vehicle.
