The invention provides a device for automatically disconnecting an accelerator during mistakenly stepping on an accelerator pedal. An accelerator base in the device is connected with an accelerator triggering piece and an upper connecting rod through a base connecting hinge, an upper connecting rod magnet is fixedly installed at one end of the upper connecting rod, an upper connecting rod reset spring is installed at the other end of the upper connecting rod, and a lower connecting rod magnet opposite to the upper connecting rod magnet in polarity is fixedly installed at one end of a lower connecting rod. The other end of the lower connecting rod is connected with an upper connecting rod reset spring and an upper connecting rod through an upper and lower connecting rod connecting hinge, an upper connecting rod jacking spring is fixedly installed at the end of the upper connecting rod, and the other end of the upper connecting rod jacking spring is connected with the accelerator base. According to the device, the upper connecting rod and the lower connecting rod are controlled to be connected or disconnected through treading force according to the principle that like poles attract each other and opposite poles repel each other of the magnets, and the device can be installed on accelerator pedals of any vehicle type and any type, so the device is very wide in use prospect.
