The invention relates to a vehicle speed control method and device, a storage medium and electronic equipment, and aims to reduce potential safety hazards caused by large vehicle speed change during driving mode switching of a vehicle. The method comprises the following steps: determining that a vehicle is in an adaptive cruise mode; and if an event for triggering the vehicle to exit the self-adaptive cruise mode occurs, determining a target speed according to the event and the current driving environment of the vehicle, and switching the vehicle from the self-adaptive cruise mode to a constant-speed cruise mode driving according to the target speed.

    本公开涉及一种车速控制方法,装置,存储介质及电子设备,以降低车辆在行驶模式切换时车辆速度变化较大带来的安全隐患。该方法包括:确定车辆处于自适应巡航模式;若发生触发所述车辆退出所述自适应巡航模式的事件时,根据所述事件以及所述车辆当前的行驶环境确定目标速度,并将所述车辆由所述自适应巡航模式切换为按照所述目标速度行驶的定速巡航模式。
