The invention provides a transverse active collision avoidance system for a vehicle and a control method of the transverse active collision avoidance system. The transverse active collision avoidance system comprises a signal acquisition unit, a signal processing unit and a controller, the signal acquisition unit is used for acquiring road information and self-vehicle information in real time and transmitting the acquired signals to the signal processing unit in real time; the signal processing unit is used for processing the road information and the vehicle information acquired by the signal acquisition unit, converting the acquired information into an electric signal and transmitting the electric signal to the controller in real time. According to the method, the collision can be actively avoided in the driving process of the vehicle, the harm caused by rear-end collision of the rear vehicle, the harm caused by transverse collision of the vehicle to a driver and the vehicle and the harm caused by obstacle vehicles and pedestrians can be effectively reduced, the economic property loss can be effectively reduced, and a safer and more comfortable driving environment is provided for the driver; therefore, the safety in the driving process is improved.

    本发明提供一种用于车辆的横向主动避撞系统及其控制方法,包括信号采集单元、信号处理单元、控制器;所述信号采集单元,用于实时获取道路信息和自车信息,并将所述采集到的信号实时传送到信号处理单元;所述信号处理单元,用于对信号采集单元获得的道路信息以及自车信息进行处理,将采集的信息转化成电信号,实时传送给控制器;本发明能使车辆在行驶过程中主动避免碰撞,并能有效减少后车追尾带来的危害,车辆横向碰撞对驾驶者与其车辆带来的危害,以及对障碍车辆以及行人带来的危害,能有效的减少经济财产的损失,给驾驶者更加安全、舒适的驾驶环境,从而提高了行驶中的安全性。
