The invention discloses a traffic signal control method for detecting pedestrian road section crossing based on videos and radars, which comprises the following steps: a traffic signal controller detects whether pedestrian lights are in a red light state or not and detects the end time of the pedestrian lights from the red light state; a video detector counts the number of pedestrians waiting for crossing the street and records the waiting time of pedestrians arriving at the waiting area at the first place; a radar detector detects the traffic volume of an entrance lane and the maximum value of the driving speed in a detection area; a traffic signal controller performs logical judgment on the received data; a pedestrian signal lamp is switched from the red light state to the green light state. According to the invention, through video detection and radar detection modes, a pedestrian road section crossing traffic signal control scheme is optimized, the waiting time of pedestrians is reduced, and the crossing passing efficiency is improved; the pedestrian emptying condition in the sidewalk passing area can be detected, and the safety of pedestrian crossing is improved; the operation state of the front-end acquisition equipment can be actively detected, and the safety, reliability and stability of the system are improved.
本发明公开了基于视频及雷达检测行人路段过街的交通信号控制方法,包括以下步骤:交通信号机检测人行灯是否为红灯状态,距离人行灯红灯结束时间;视频检测器统计等待过街人数及记录首位到达等待区行人等待时间;雷达检测器检测进口道交通量及检测区域内行车速度最大值;交通信号机对接收数据做逻辑判断;人行信号灯由红灯状态切换为绿灯状态。本发明可以通过视频检测和雷达检测方式,优化行人路段过街交通信号控制方案,减少行人等待时间,提高过街通行效率;可以检测人行道通过区内行人清空情况,提高行人过街的安全性;可以主动检测前端采集设备的运行状态,提高系统的安全性、可靠性、稳定性。
