The invention discloses a steering device for a driving simulator and a control method of the steering device. The steering device comprises a steering wheel, a steering wheel connecting shaft, an input coupler, an input shaft, a torsion bar, an output shaft, a motor coupler, a motor, a torque rotary angle sensor, a controller and a power source; the steering wheel is connected with one end of the steering wheel connecting shaft, the other end of the steering wheel connecting shaft is connected with the input shaft through the input coupler, the input shaft is connected with the output shaft through the torsion bar, and the output shaft is connected with a rotating shaft of the motor through the motor coupler; the torque rotary angle sensor is used for acquiring rotation angle and torque signals of the steering wheel and sending the rotation angle and torque signals to the controller; the controller is used for receiving the rotation angle and torque signals and controlling the motor to output target torque; and the power source is used for supplying power to the controller. According to the steering device, the situation that shaking of the motor is directly transmitted to the steering wheel is effectively avoided, the control method of the steering device can vividly simulate the feedback force feeling of the steering wheel, and the driving experience of a driver is improved.

    本发明公开了用于驾驶模拟器的转向装置及其控制方法,该转向装置包括方向盘、方向盘连接轴、输入联轴器、输入轴、扭杆、输出轴、电机联轴器、电机、扭矩转角传感器、控制器和电源;方向盘连接方向盘连接轴的一端,方向盘连接轴的另一端通过输入联轴器与输入轴相连,输入轴通过所述扭杆与输出轴连接,输出轴通过电机联轴器与电机的转轴相连;扭矩转角传感器用于获取所述方向盘的转角和扭矩信号,并发送给所述控制器;控制器用于接收转角和扭矩信号,并控制电机输出目标扭矩;电源用于给所述控制器供电。本发明的转向装置有效避免了电机的抖动直接传递给方向盘,而且其控制方法能够逼真地模拟方向盘反馈力感,提升了驾驶员的驾驶体验。
