The invention discloses a steel wire rope erecting method for surveying underground pipe culverts. The method comprises the steps that firstly, a to-be-surveyed pipe culvert is selected, and the lowering end and the withdrawing end of detection equipment are determined; one end of a steel cable is fixed to the lowering port; then the steel cable is lowered at the lowering port, and the steel cable is fished when reaching the withdrawing port; and the steel cable is tightened and fixed at the withdrawing port, so that erection is completed. The steel wire rope erecting method is used for providing a safe and convenient control platform for lowering, working operation and withdrawing of detection equipment such as detectors, photographic equipment and scanning equipment for surveying underground pipe culverts in water environments or dry pipe environments, and different kinds of detection equipment can be conveniently used for surveying underground pipe culverts in various environments.
