The invention discloses a battery pack thermal runaway passive detection protection system and method, and relates to the field of battery pack thermal control. The battery pack thermal runaway passive detection protection system comprises a detection loop unit and a cooling loop unit, wherein the detection loop unit comprises a detection main circuit and a first temperature control switch; the cooling loop unit comprises a cooling main circuit and a second temperature control switch. When the real-time temperature in the battery pack is higher than the detection temperature threshold value, the first temperature control switch is closed to conduct the detection main circuit, and the detection main circuit executes a detection instruction for the battery pack; and when the real-time temperature in the battery pack is higher than the cooling temperature threshold, the second temperature control switch is closed to conduct the cooling main circuit, and the cooling main circuit executes acooling protection instruction. According to the battery pack thermal runaway passive detection protection system and method provided by the invention, passive detection is carried out by using a proper Curie temperature material, detection and control functions are integrated, the detection timeliness is high, time delay is avoided, and an effective and reliable protection effect is achieved onbattery pack thermal runaway.

    本发明公开了电池包热失控无源检测防护系统及方法,涉及电池包热控制领域。电池包热失控无源检测防护系统包括检测回路单元和冷却回路单元,检测回路单元包括检测主电路以及第一温控开关;冷却回路单元包括冷却主电路以及第二温控开关;当电池包内的实时温度高于检测温度阈值时,第一温控开关闭合导通检测主电路,检测主电路执行对电池包的检测指令;当电池包内的实时温度高于冷却温度阈值时,第二温控开关闭合导通冷却主电路,冷却主电路执行对冷却防护指令。本发明提供的电池包热失控无源检测防护系统及方法,使用合适的居里温度材料进行无源检测,集检测和控制功能为一体,检测时效性强、无时间迟滞,对电池包热失控形成有效可靠的防护作用。
