The invention discloses a battery pack thermal runaway monitoring system and method. The system comprises a power battery pack, a thermal runaway monitoring module, a network connection data terminal module, a power supply module and a plurality of temperature detection modules, one or more power battery modules are arranged in a box body of the power battery pack, and a plurality of smoke sensing detection modules and a plurality of temperature control switches are arranged in each power battery module. The plurality of temperature control switches are connected in parallel between the power supply module and the thermal runaway monitoring module, the output ends of the smoke detection module and the temperature detection module are connected with the input end of the thermal runaway monitoring module, and the output end of the thermal runaway monitoring module is connected with the network connection data terminal module. The system can monitor the thermal runaway state of the battery pack under any working condition state of the electric automobile, can be quickly started when suspected thermal runaway of the battery pack occurs, and can be used for monitoring the thermal runaway state of the battery pack according to various different signal paths which are mutually independent and are not easy to cause sensor failure due to high-temperature burning loss after starting. And whether the battery pack has thermal runaway or not is reliably confirmed and judged.

    本发明公开了一种电池组热失控监测系统及方法。它包括动力电池包、热失控监测模块、网联数据终端模块、电源模块和若干温度检测模块,所述动力电池包的箱体内设有一个或多个动力电池模组,每个动力电池模组内设有若干烟感检测模块和若干温控开关,若干温控开关并联连接在电源模块与热失控监测模块之间,烟感检测模块和温度检测模块的输出端连接热失控监测模块输入端,热失控监测模块输出端连接网联数据终端模块。本发明能够在电动汽车任何工况状态下对电池组热失控状态进行监测,在出现疑似电池组热失控时能迅速启动,并在启动后,根据多种相互独立不易因高温烧损导致传感器失效的不同信号途径,对电池组是否出现热失控进行可靠的确认判断。
