The invention provides an adjustable suspension chassis and a robot. The adjustable suspension chassis comprises a base part, a driving wheel set and a first universal wheel set, wherein the driving wheel set and the first universal wheel set are both arranged on the base part. The driving wheel set comprises two driving wheel assemblies which are oppositely arranged. The first universal wheel setcomprises two first universal wheel assemblies which are oppositely arranged. The driving wheel assembly comprises a swing piece, a first fixing part and a driving wheel, the first fixing part is fixed to the base part and provided with a hinge position, the swing piece is detachably hinged to the hinge position, and a damping adjuster is arranged at the hinge position of the swing piece and thefirst fixing part. According to the suspension chassis and the robot provided by the invention, the chassis can have a suspension with excellent performance in different use environments, so that themovement stability of the chassis is integrally improved.
