The invention provides an overheat protection method for an EPS system, and the method comprises the following steps: 1, recording a part, bearing a large current, in EPS system parts as a first typepart, and recording a part, bearing a small current, in the EPS system parts as a second type part; 2, respectively estimating overheat protection currents of the first type of components and the second type of components in real time, and respectively recording the overheat protection currents as I1 and I2; and 3, taking the minimum value of the overheat protection current I1 and the overheat protection current I2 as the overheat protection current of the EPS system, wherein when the overheat protection current I1 and the overheat protection current I2 are equal, the overheat protection current I1 and the overheat protection current I2 can be used as the overheat protection current of the EPS system. According to the technical scheme, the parts of the EPS system are classified according to the magnitude of the borne current, the overheating protection current of the parts is estimated, the minimum overheating protection current of the parts is met, and therefore overheating protectionof the parts of the EPS system is achieved, and the accuracy of overheating estimation and overheating protection of the system is improved.
本发明提供一种EPS系统的过热保护方法,包括以下步骤:步骤1:将EPS系统部件中承受大电流的部件记为第一类部件,将EPS系统部件中承受小电流的部件记为第二类部件;步骤2:分别实时估算第一类部件和第二类部件的过热保护电流,并分别记为I和I;步骤3:将所述过热保护电流I和过热保护电流I中的最小值作为EPS系统的过热保护电流;其中当过热保护电流I和过热保护电流I相等时,所述过热保护电流I和过热保护电流I均可作为EPS系统的过热保护电流。通过按承受电流的大小对EPS系统各部件进行分类,并对各类部件的过热保护电流进行估算,满足各类部件的最小过热保护电流,从而实现对EPS系统各部件的过热保护,提高了系统过热估算和过热保护的准确性。
