The invention provides an interlaced road section and a method for improving traffic efficiency of the interlaced road section through radar tracking control. The interlaced road section comprises atleast two driving-in directions and two driving-out directions, wherein a first lane and a second lane are arranged in the first driving-in direction, a third lane and a fourth lane are arranged in the second driving-in direction, a fifth lane and a sixth lane are arranged in the first driving-out direction, a seventh lane and an eighth lane are arranged in the second driving-out direction, the second lane and the third lane converge on the interlaced road section to form an interlaced road section shared lane, a first stop line is arranged at the downstream of the second lane and close to theinterlaced road section shared lane, and first prompting equipment is arranged in front of the first stop line; similarly, a second stop line and a second prompt device are arranged; a radar video tracking detection device is used for acquiring all driving information on the interlaced road section; and a prompt equipment control device is used for controlling the first prompt equipment and/or the second prompt equipment according to the driving information and the release method.
