The invention discloses an interlaced area road traffic capacity reduction calculation method under the influence of a traffic accident. The method comprises the following steps: constructing an interlaced area road traffic flow operation characteristic data set; calculating the standard traffic flow of main road driving-out and branch road afflux of the road in the interleaving area; determining a space range of roads in the interlaced area influenced by traffic accidents; calculating the road traffic capacity reduction value of the interlaced area under the transverse influence of the traffic accident; calculating a road traffic capacity reduction value of the interlaced area under the longitudinal influence of the traffic accident; and calculating the total reduction value of the traffic capacity of the interlaced area under the influence of the traffic accident. The method can effectively quantify the influence of sudden traffic accidents on the road traffic capacity of the interlacing area, and calculates the traffic capacity reduction value of the area, so that more efficient traffic control measures can be taken at the upstream section of the road of the interlacing area, and the influence of the traffic accidents on the road traffic efficiency of the interlacing area is reduced to a greater extent.
