The invention relates to a modular multi-legged crawling robot. The robot comprises a robot motion platform and is technically characterized in that at least two modular robot walking mechanisms are detachably installed below the robot motion platform and used for achieving movement of the robot motion platform in all directions. The robot is advantaged in that the mechanical structure is simple and compact, rigidity is high, and requirements of different working conditions can be met.
