The invention discloses a brake detection device. The brake detection device is used for an automobile brake system, the brake system comprises a brake drum fixed on a wheel and a brake driving leverconnected with the brake drum, the brake detection device comprises a temperature sensor and an angle sensor, the temperature sensor is connected with the brake drum, and the temperature sensor is used for detecting the temperature of the brake drum; the angle sensor is connected with the brake driving lever and used for detecting the twisting angle of the brake driving lever. The invention further discloses a brake detection system which comprises the brake detection device. The invention further discloses a brake fault detection method. According to the brake detection device and system andthe brake fault detection method, the temperature of the brake drum and the twisting angle of the brake driving lever are detected through the detection device, the temperature of the brake drum can be prevented from being too high, the left-right non-uniformity of the brake driving lever can be detected, and detection is more comprehensive.
