The invention relates to the technical field of battery control, and particularly relates to a battery water cooling unit and a control method thereof. The method comprises the steps of collecting a whole vehicle air conditioner switching signal and a battery box internal temperature signal; and judging whether the temperature in the battery box is greater than a set temperature upper limit threshold or not, if so, turning on the whole vehicle air conditioner when the whole vehicle air conditioner is turned off, and controlling the whole vehicle air conditioner to only cool water in a batterycooling water path. When the whole vehicle air conditioner is turned off, the air conditioner is controlled to be turned on if the temperature in the battery box is too high, and only cooling water inthe battery cooling water path is cooled, so hat rapid cooling of the battery box is guaranteed, and the safety of the battery is improved. Meanwhile, the requirement for the whole vehicle air conditioner in a compartment, namely, the original turn-off state of the whole vehicle air conditioner, is met, that is, the whole vehicle air conditioner is turned on to only cool the battery box and not cool the compartment.

    本发明涉及电池控制技术领域,特别是一种电池水冷机组及其控制方法。该方法通过采集整车空调开关信号和电池箱内温度信号;判断电池箱内温度是否大于设定温度上限阈值,若是,当整车空调关闭时,开启整车空调,并控制整车空调仅对电池冷却水路中的水进行冷却。在整车空调关闭时,若出现电池箱内温度过高,就控制空调开启,仅对电池冷却水路中冷却水进行降温,保证了电池箱的快速降温,提高了电池的安全性,同时,契合了车厢内对整车空调需求即原有的整车空调关闭状态,也就是开启整车空调只对电池箱降温,不对车厢降温。
