The bionic parallel photography robot comprises a camera, a movable platform, three or more UPU branched chains of the same structure, a driving device and a movable base; the camera is arranged on the movable platform; the three or more UPU branched chains are of telescopic structures and are respectively hinged with the movable platformand the movable base in a parallel connection manner; the UPU branched chains are of a plane symmetrical structure; and the number of the driving devices is equal to that of the UPU branched chains,and the driving devices are connected with the UPU branched chains. The invention further provides a photography control method of the bionic parallel photography robot. Multi-angle and multi-direction photographing is achieved. The bionic parallel photography robot is high in shooting stability, and multi-angle, multi-direction and multi-height shooting can be achieved, so the bionic parallel photography robot is suitable for all-dimensional tracking shooting of complex environments such as flat road sections or steep road sections and has good environment adaptability.
