The invention discloses an image acquisition system used for automatic contour detection of a train guide rail. The image acquisition system comprises a first laser, a second laser and an image acquisition device which are arranged in a triangle manner; the first laser and the second laser are respectively arranged at two sides of the train guide rail, and the second laser and the image acquisition device are arranged at the same side of the train guide rail; and the optical axes of the first laser, the second laser and the image acquisition device are focused on the same point on the top surface of the train guide rail. The image acquisition system used for automatic contour detection of the train guide rail acquires images of the top surface and side surfaces of the train guide rail in real time, the top surface and the side surfaces of the train guide rail are in the same field of view, and therefore the actual loss degree of the contour of the train guide rail can be detected, and the detection error is reduced.
