Provided is a vehicular brake device such that the operating characteristics of an electromagnetic valve disposed in a pipe line connecting a master cylinder and a wheel cylinder can be accurately set. The vehicular brake device according to the present invention is provided with: a first flow passageway connecting a first electromagnetic valve and a wheel cylinder; a second flow passageway connecting a reservoir unit capable of storing brake fluid and the first flow passageway; and a second electromagnetic valve disposed in the second flow passageway. A differential pressure generation means generates a predetermined differential pressure by moving a master piston after implementing advance control for advancing the master piston so that the stroke position is within an advance-side region with respect to a drive pressure generation means. A second electromagnetic valve control means places the second electromagnetic valve in open state in a period including at least a part of the period of implementation of the advance control.
