To provide a vehicular brake device which can inhibit increase of motor starting current when a parking brake force is generated.SOLUTION: A vehicular brake device 100 includes: a housing having a through hole; a screw shaft which is guided by an inner peripheral surface of the housing and penetrates through the through hole; an elastic member disposed at a portion where the screw shaft driven by a motor and the housing are butted; and a torque control unit which controls torque of the motor based on a motor current of the motor detected in a process in which the elastic member is compressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
