The invention discloses a wing drive mechanism for an ornithopter. The wing drive mechanism comprises a drive device, a universal joint and a position control device which are sequentially connected. The universal joint is provided with a driving shaft and a driven shaft. Wings are connected to the driven shaft. One end of the driving shaft is connected with the driving device and rotates under action of the drive device. One end of the driven shaft is connected with the position control device and moves under action of the position control device. The drive device is provided with a first position sensor for sensing the motion position of the driving shaft in real time. The position control device is provided with a second position sensor for sensing the motion position of the driven shaft in real time. The motion position of the driven shaft is adjusted in real time according to the change of the motion position of the driving shaft. The wing drive mechanism solves the problems that an original ornithopter can not fly in a figure-8 mode, and the size of the incidence angle can not be changed flexibly.
