The invention discloses a method for judging whether a signal control intersection adapts to continuous flow intersection transformation. According to the method, whether a signal control intersection satisfies the basic condition, infrastructure condition, flow condition and flow ratio condition for setting a continuous flow intersection is analyzed sequentially, whether the corresponding signal control intersection is suitable for continuous flow intersection transformation is judged only when all the conditions are met, and that the signal control intersection is not suitable for continuous flow intersection transformation is judged if there is one condition which cannot be satisfied. The method has the advantages of clear and concise using conditions, convenient and quick operation, and high reliability. After a signal control intersection is transformed into a continuous flow intersection, traffic congestion on the entrance lane of the signal control intersection can be reduced, and the traffic capacity of the intersection can be improved.
