The invention relates to the technical field of railway vehicle safety, in particular to an energy-absorbing anti-climbing device. The energy-absorbing anti-climbing device comprises a plurality of energy absorbing mechanisms, wherein the energy absorbing mechanisms are fixed on a vehicle body; the energy absorbing mechanisms comprise anti-climbing toothed plates, energy absorbing pipe pieces and limiting pieces; one ends of the energy absorbing pipe pieces are connected with the anti-climbing toothed plates; the other ends of the energy absorbing pipe pieces are connected with the vehicle body; the energy absorbing pipe pieces have deformations while the anti-climbing toothed plates move to the vehicle body; the limiting pieces are arranged between the anti-climbing toothed plates and the vehicle body and used for limiting the deformation directions of the energy absorbing pipe pieces. The energy-absorbing anti-climbing device provided by the invention can effectively absorb impact energy generated during vehicle collision without using a guide rod to guide.
