The invention discloses a lifting platform control method and belongs to the technical field of brake control. The lifting platform control method comprises the following steps: when receiving a platform lifting command, a controller controls a hydraulic brake to switch off through a solenoid valve; the controller controls the exciting current of a motor through a frequency converter and controls an electromagnetic brake to switch off after the exciting current reaches the set current value; the controller executes the platform lifting command; when receiving a normal stop command, the controller controls the motor to rotate at a lower speed through the frequency converter and then controls the electromagnetic brake to switch on, and after the electromagnetic brake completes the switch-on operation and delays for a set period of time, the controller controls the hydraulic brake to switch on through the solenoid valve, and the set time period lasts for 3-5 s; and the controller executes the normal stop command. The lifting platform control method can solve the problem that a conventional lifting platform control method has a certain potential safety hazards.
