The invention relates to a brake lamp fault check device. The brake lamp fault check device comprises rearview mirrors of a first motor vehicle and headlamps of a second motor vehicle, wherein the second motor vehicle is behind the first motor vehicle; each rearview mirror comprises a mirror base and mirror glass, the mirror glass is hinged with the mirror base, the mirror glass comprises a rearview mirror surface and a brake check mirror surface, and the brake check mirror surface is located on the back surface of the rearview mirror surface. During use, in combination with the brake check mirror surfaces and the reflectors of the headlamps of the motor vehicle behind, whether the brake lamps are lighted up or not can be checked; a driver can check whether the brake lamps are faulted or not without getting off the motor vehicle, and the problem that the driver cannot check the brake lamps is solved.
