The invention discloses a system for adaptively switching high and low beam lights, and the system comprises a speed sensor, a distance collection module, a control module, and a high and low beam light switching module, wherein the control module is respectively in electrical connection with the speed sensor, the distance collection module and the high and low beam light switching module. The speed sensor is disposed on a vehicle body, and is used for sensing the running speed of a vehicle. The distance collection module is disposed in the front of the vehicle, and is used for collecting the distance from the vehicle to a front barrier in a preset collection period. The high and low beam light switching module is used for switching the high and low beam lights. The control module is used for controlling the high and low beam light switching module to switch the high and low beam lights according to the running speed of the vehicle and the information collected by the distance collection module. The system is simple in structure, is convenient to use, can adaptively switch the high and low beam lights, prevents a driver from forgetting switching, and guarantees the driving safety.
