The invention discloses a hoisting mechanism. A pull rod drives a sliding plate to move by pulling a handle rod through the lever principle. An engine cylinder block is clamped through clamping plates and a supporting block, then hooks are hung on hangers, a lifting device drives installing frames to move, the engine cylinder block is made to move up and down along a support, and thus the engine cylinder block can be accurately placed on a tray. The engine assembly quality is guaranteed, and an engine is prevented from being scratched.
