The invention discloses a lightweight outside corridor locomotive frame which comprises a frame main body. Outside corridors are arranged on the two sides of the frame main body along the longitudinal center line of the frame main body, frame side beams are arranged between the two sides of the frame main body and the outside corridors, and side bearing bases are arranged on the outer sides of the frame side beams. The side bearing bases are of a box-shaped structure, and the frame side beams are box-shaped fish-bellied beams with rectangular sections. The side bearing bases are completely arranged on the outer sides of the frame side beams, side bearing holes do not need to be formed in the side beams, so that the side beams are structurally provided with no abrupt change point, the transmitting continuity of longitudinal force is guaranteed, and stress concentration is not formed at the side bearing positions so as to be favorable for structural lightness. The side bearing bases are designed to be of the box-shaped structure, so that side bearing base gear assembly does not need to be performed any longer, the structure is optimized, and the process is simplified.
